Data Analyst - Python Coding

Working with one of the top financial clients, this role calls for a Data Analyst - Python Coding who will be responsible for the remediation of large unstructured and structured data to ensure accuracy and consistency across various source systems. This candidate will identify and seek opportunities to automate and streamline data reconciliation, remediation, and business processes, using tools such as Python and RPA.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve an exceptional standard of error-free data processing to mitigate risk to the client (i.e. reputational, financial, regulatory, operational risk)
• Empathize and resolve challenges with business partners across the bank by understanding their data needs
• Achieve business objectives by completing project-based tasks in a timely and accurate manner,
• Help build a positive, diverse and equitable work environment by promoting team effectiveness with transparency and accountability
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders
• Demonstrate the client’s Framework and shared commitments in daily activities

Desired Skill Set:

• 3 years of experience in Data remediation, analysis, interpretation, visualization and communication
• 3 years of experience with Intermediate - Advanced Excel
• 3 years of hands-on experience with Python
• Strong communication skills, verbal & written

Nice To Have:

• Proficient in Alteryx
• Hands-on experience with Bloomberg and Dremio
• Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS Power Apps, Power Automate, DataVerse
• Working knowledge of ETL
• GoldTier experience
• Exposure to UI Path
