Travel Nurse - Mental Health RN

Our Healthcare Professionals work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), providing care to community members. We hire passionate team-members from all over Canada who travel on assignments to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time! Average assignment durations vary from 2 to 6 weeks. • Collaborate with Community Health Nurses in clinics to provide support
• Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
• Follow up and reach out to community members. Assist patients
• In some cases, you may be the sole MHN in the community, so it is essential to be comfortable working independently with limited resources

Who You Are

• You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
• You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
• You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the province or territory you wish to work
• You meet the required work experience
• Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview
