WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Create detailed design documents, storyboards, performance-based tasks, and course content that outline instructional strategies, objectives, and learner activities.
  • Design and develop a wide range of engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training guides, job aids, videos, and interactive simulations.
  • Lead the production of high-quality instructional content using animations, motion graphics, and other multimedia elements to create immersive learning experiences.
  • Deliver operational and project-based training to our employee base, applying optimal adult learning strategies to maximize effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop solutions that align with business goals.
  • Assist with sourcing and evaluating external training programs to support continuous employee development.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure all learning materials align with brand standards and maintain visual consistency.
  • Manage content on our Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure all materials are current, relevant, and effective.
  • Incorporate various media elements such as graphics, audio, and video to enrich the learning experience.
  • Deliver operational and project-based training to the employee base, applying optimal adult learning strategies.
  • Source and assist with external training programs for continuous employee development.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews on all content to ensure it meets our high standards for instructional effectiveness and design.
  • Assist in managing our Learning Management System (LMS), including uploading content and tracking learner progress.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • 2+ years of experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere (or equivalent tools).
  • Demonstrated background in multimedia production, including video, animation, and motion graphics.
  • Post-secondary education in Psychology, Instructional Design, Training & Development, Education, Communications or related field.
  • Professional certifications in Training and development. (e.g., ATD, CPTD) and/or andragogy, preferred.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles.
  • Experience in creating simulations.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and cross-functional departments.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training technologies.
