SAP BW/4HANA Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Architect, design, and implement SAP BW/4HANA solutions, including data modeling, data extraction from various source systems, and data loading processes.
• System Integration: Integrate SAP BW/4HANA with other SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, Salesforce) to ensure seamless data flow and reporting capabilities.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of existing data models and queries. Identify and resolve issues related to data loads, system performance, and data integrity.
• Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical applications using tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ), and Analysis for Office.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users, project managers, and other IT teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, and provide training to end-users and junior team members.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW/4HANA.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SAP BW/4HANA data modeling (ADSO, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views).
• Expertise in data extraction from various sources using SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server (SLT), Operational Data Provisioning (ODP), and SAP Business Content.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ABAP, and scripting languages.
• Experience with front-end reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or SAP BusinessObjects.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. SAP BW/4HANA certification is a plus.
