Onsite role at 661 University Avenue, Toronto, ON. Working hours are 8 AM - 5 PM EST.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receptionist with 1 year of experience, to serve as the first point of contact for visitors while also supporting shipping and receiving operations and badge administration. This role combines front-desk responsibilities with logistical coordination and access management, making it ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and able to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk / Reception
  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Manage visitor sign-in processes and ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming packages and mail
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and coordinating with carriers
  • Maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs and records
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of items
  • May require occasional lifting of packages
  • Badge Administration
  • Create, activate, and manage employee and visitor badges
  • Verify identity and access permissions in accordance with company policies
  • Troubleshoot badge issues
  • Maintain accurate records of badge issuance and access levels
  • Team & Administrative Support
  • Provide general administrative support to the broader team as needed
  • Assist with office coordination tasks, scheduling, and internal requests
  • Support team members with ad hoc projects and operational needs
  • Help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and a positive workplace experience
