About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about building innovative insurance technology solutions? We’re looking for an experienced Guidewire Developer to join our growing team in Quebec. In this role, you will work on designing, customizing, and integrating Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications that power mission-critical business processes for the insurance industry.

What You’ll Do

• Design, configure, and develop Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• Customize workflows, business rules, product models, and user interfaces.
• Build and maintain integrations between Guidewire and external systems (APIs, web services, middleware, databases).
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and project teams to deliver business-driven solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support production environments and resolve technical issues.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Guidewire certifications (Configuration, Integration, or Specialist).
• 3+ years of Guidewire InsuranceSuite development (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
• Strong proficiency in Java and Gosu.
• Experience with Guidewire configuration, rules, workflows, and product model.
• Integration experience using SOAP/REST APIs and messaging.
• Solid SQL and database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).
• Strong communication skills in English and/or French (bilingual preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Guidewire Cloud or upgrade projects.
• Familiarity with Canadian P&C insurance processes.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
