As a Road Construction Team Member, you'll be at the forefront of constructing vital transportation arteries, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. What You’ll Accomplish

  • Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine form specifications.
  • Measure and cut materials, such as lumber and plywood, to construct forms according to project requirements.
  • Assemble and secure forms in place with nails, bolts, or screws, ensuring proper alignment.
  • Pour and spread concrete into forms, smoothing and finishing surfaces using hand tools.
  • Remove forms after concrete has set and clean and prepare them for reuse.
  • Inspect forms and formwork to identify and repair any defects or damage.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.….
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We’re Looking For Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Work Experience: at least 1-year previous experience working as a form worker or carpenter in the construction industry. Additional Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and cutting materials.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures on construction sites.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE).
