Job Title: Facilities Coordinator

Job Type: Contract (November 18 to December 31), potential for extension

Location: Calgary

Work Model: On-site

Pay: $21.50/hour

Altis Recruitment is seeking a Facilities Coordinator on behalf of a leading real estate services client in Calgary.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure adherence to all procedures, policies, and reporting standards.
  • Respond to client inquiries and coordinate the collection and processing of work orders.
  • Compile reports to track performance metrics and project progress.
  • Maintain organized records, including work orders, vendor proposals, department files, and other related documentation.
  • Monitor building exterior activities, ensuring proper waste management and recycling practices.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos, asking clarifying questions when necessary.
  • Address routine inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional manner.
  • Apply established procedures to resolve straightforward issues with limited discretion.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time while following defined processes under close supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, with up to 2 years of related experience in administration or property management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Effective communication skills to exchange clear and concise information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to follow structured routines and adhere to established standards.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
