Senior Network Lead

Location: Winnipeg, MB (On-site with provincial travel)

Duration: 6-Month Contract with potential extension

Schedule: 40 hours/week with occasional off-hours and weekend work as required

Travel: Travel expenses reimbursed

We are seeking two experienced Senior Network Leads to support the deployment and expansion of enterprise wireless infrastructure across multiple sites throughout Manitoba. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for leading deployment teams, configuring and supporting Cisco and Aruba network environments, overseeing wireless implementations, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong enterprise networking experience across wired and wireless environments, professional-level Cisco or Aruba certifications, and proven experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day technical activities for an assigned deployment team, including oversight and support of Field Technicians
• Configure, manage, and support enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Deploy and troubleshoot Aruba and Cisco wireless solutions in accordance with approved designs and project timelines
• Administer Aruba Central and Cisco management platforms for monitoring, configuration management, and troubleshooting
• Support identity-based access control solutions including Cisco ISE or equivalent NAC/AAA platforms
• Perform switching configuration, VLAN implementation, and wireless optimization activities
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration records, as-built documentation, and commissioning reports
• Coordinate deployment progress, technical issues, and milestone updates with project leadership and stakeholders
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards
• Provide escalation support during and after deployments
• Accurately complete weekly timesheets and project reporting requirements

Required Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience in both wired and wireless environments
• Professional-level networking certification such as CCNP, Aruba ACCP/ACMP, or equivalent
• Strong experience deploying and managing Aruba wireless solutions using Aruba Central
• Experience with Cisco switching and wireless infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE or equivalent network access control (NAC) solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills within enterprise network environments
• Ability to create clear and accurate technical documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel throughout Manitoba as required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certification such as Security+
• Experience working in healthcare, government, or other regulated enterprise environments
• Experience using wireless site survey tools such as Ekahau or similar platforms
