Investment Operations Associate

Aligned Capital Partners Inc. (ACPI) is a fast-growing investment dealer with a dynamic team looking to expand our business. We are currently hiring for a full–time Investment Operations Associate to be part of our Client Experience team in Calgary, Alberta as the firm continues to make inroads in the West.

Position Overview

In this role, the successful candidate will work to gather information and create solutions in order to provide excellent support to our clients. The Client Experience Team is the ‘go to’ for our Investment Advisor clients and the corresponding relationship is based on the trust they have in our expertise and ability to support them effectively. We are looking for someone who works calmly in a fast-paced environment and ensures work is completed in a timely fashion. This is a client-facing role that requires a heightened level of experience working within the financial services industry.

What You Will Do

 Taking a team approach, support our Advisor clients with day-to-day inquiries and any specific requests for assistance- relating to Systems, Compliance, Trading, Estates, and more

 Provide training to advisors and their branches/teams

 Provide support to/work with other departments as required for multi-faceted issues

 Work on project-specific tasks relating to procedural updates

 Assisting and supporting management on ad-hoc and priority items

You Will Bring:

 1-3 years’ experience providing client service in the investment, banking or related industries focus on very strong client service skills

 Industry related academic experience (ex. CSC, CPH) or an evidenced commitment towards further education

 Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Word and Excel)

 Team Player with friendly personality and strong communication skills

 Proven ability to manage high volumes with a positive and professional attitude
