Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst to work on a project that will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology. The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

Qualifications:

• Valid PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.

• Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) Associate level or higher as recognized by the International Institute for Software Testing (IIST). Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response

• 10 years experience in the development and execution of test scenarios, scripts and cases that demonstrate conformance to functional and non-functional requirements. The response should include at least 10 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 10 years. At least one example should support the implementation of an information system designed to support clinical documentation.

• 5 years experience developing detailed testing cases and scenarios, and executing testing for information systems designed to support healthcare activities – either administrative or clinical. The response should include at least 2 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.

• 3 years’ experience testing software solutions designed to support enterprise resource planning in a healthcare environment. Experience should include testing the associated processes designed to support the business as well as validation of the data in the application. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years.

• 4 years’ experience testing the Allscripts suite of applications in a healthcare environment. Testing activities should include the execution of test scripts and scenarios to validate the configuration of the application and workflow. The response should include at least 2 examples including the duration of the project or work that totals at least 4 years.

• 5 years experience in an analyst role supporting information system implementation projects and process mapping activities. Experience should include documenting customer requirements (Functional and non-functional), and business processes and identifying where the capability gaps lie. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that total at least 5 years
