Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Clinical Analyst to assist with program deliverables. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience and knowledge of similar programs. This will allow for a smoother onboarding process and leverage existing knowledge of systems and workflows.

Deliverables:

• Strategy execution

• Clinical engagement and knowledge translation to subject matter experts (SMEs)

• Clinical workflow review and validation

• Organizational change management activities

• Co-facilitation of design sessions

• Ongoing collaboration with solution consultants

• Reporting to project leadership

• Risk and issue identification

Qualifications:

Knowledge:

• Degree or diploma in a health-related discipline. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Health Related field. Preference given to those with CIS implementation/informatics/clinical experience.

• 2+ years’ experience in large scale CIS implementation (Oracle Health (Cerner) preferred).

• Experience and/or training with healthcare information systems and terminology an asset.

• Familiarity with ambulatory/medicine clinics and surgical operations and coordination between referring physicians, intake teams, and imaging departments.

• Demonstrated ability to foster consistency, standardization, and system adoption across diverse clinical environments.

Relevant Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years in health informatics or healthcare project experience

• Post-secondary education in clinical health sciences, healthcare administration, information technology, or health informatics.

• Experience supporting technology adoption and related services in a complex health care organizational environment considered an asset

• Ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult scenarios to clinical and business staff

• Working knowledge of basic systems principles, theories and concepts within healthcare

• Strong knowledge of health care and technology industry best practice relating to software applications and informatics

• Ability to solve a range of complex problems; identify innovative solutions; and, use clinical best practice knowledge of internal and/or external business issues to improve service

• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills

• Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis

• Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse parties to solve high risk, complex issues

• Experience in transformational or process analysis to support change management principles

• Organizational Skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Experience in working with patient care leaders

• Graphic design/communications material generation expertise an asset
