Job Description:
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Change Manager to be responsible for delivering services as herein defined. The primary scope of work required from the Consultant will be to plan, develop and deliver organizational change management and communications activities. The Consultant will work closely with the business resources, staff from the SAP MP program office, SAP Service Management, and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
In support of this Project, the Consultant is responsible for the following organizational change management and communications activities:
- Manages the change management deliverables for assigned project work areas.
- Responsible for developing and delivering work plans outlining the required activities associated with each Change Management deliverable e.g., Stakeholder Management, Change Impact Assessment, Organizational Change Action Planning.
- Responsible for managing the logistics associated with change management work plans - including any required communications, scheduling of meetings, materials preparation etc.
- Provides oversight, sets expectations and direction for Change Specialists on assigned work associated with individual change management work plans e.g., Organizational Change Action Plans, Change Impact Analysis, Stakeholder Management etc.
- Responsible for reporting on status weekly (work plan) to the OCM Lead and/or Communications Lead where applicable.
- Responsible to collaborate and partner with the broader change, communications, and training team members.
- Responsible for identifying, documenting, and escalating risks, issues, actions, and decisions related to Change Management scope and delivery and overall business readiness.
- Supports continuous learning and process improvement for the Change Management stream.
- Participates in the development and delivery of the change management knowledge transfer plans.
Required Qualifications:
The consultant must fulfill the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience helping organizations plan, implement, and deliver people and change initiatives. Within the Candidate’s change management history, experience in the following areas is required:
- People & Business Process change; and
- IT implementation experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and implementing change management deliverables. • Experience with Change Management methodologies (PROSCI or similar).
- Strong facilitation skills (one on one and in small/large groups).
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and can collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and team members.
- Highly flexible adaptable in changing environments and can adjust style and approach to meet the needs of the client or organization.
- Is a critical thinker and can effectively work through problems to find solutions.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and execute deliverables.
Desired Qualifications:
The Consultant ideally should fulfill the following desirable qualifications:
- Prior Organizational Change Management experience in an ERP, or technical implementation project context.
- Prior experience, in a lead change management or communications role, within the public sector. Preferably experience with the Province of NS, NS Health/IWK and/or NS Education Sector.
- Prior Change Management experience leading people through a large SAP S/4 HANA ERP implementation.
