This role supports Adapt Safety Solutions, focusing on business development, client outreach, and relationship management across industrial and resource-based sectors.

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales & Business Development Representative with a proven ability to generate leads and close deals. The ideal candidate brings experience working with or selling into mining, construction, marine, project-based, or natural resource environments, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary, paired with a strong commission structure.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities for Adapt Safety Solutions.
  • Generating leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Promoting Adapt’s health & safety software, training, and consulting packages.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with decision-makers across mining, construction, marine, and natural resource sectors.
  • Preparing proposals, pricing packages, and tailored service recommendations.
  • Managing follow-ups with prospective and existing clients to advance the sales cycle.
  • Collaborating with leadership teams from both organizations to refine sales strategies.
  • Representing Adapt professionally at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Proven success in generating leads, managing pipelines, and closing deals.
  • Experience working in or selling into mining, construction, marine, industrial, project-based, or natural resource sectors.
  • Background in Health and Safety considered an asset.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented personality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the health and safety industry is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license (if local travel required).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
