As a Retail Account Lead for the West Coast, you will shape our go-to-market strategy and lead client relationships across the retail and consumer industries. You are passionate about digital transformation and customer experience, and you thrive at the intersection of commerce, marketing, and technology. You can confidently engage with Chief Digital Officers, CMOs, and other senior executives to help them reimagine their businesses for the digital era. - Establish go-to-market strategies and industry-specific offerings that drive digital transformation and next-generation customer experience.
- Act as a customer experience and digital marketing practitioner, helping clients define and execute strategies that connect brand, experience, and commerce.
- Partner with senior-level clients (e.g., Chief Digital Officer, Chief Marketing Officer) to understand strategic priorities and shape long-term digital and marketing roadmaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Strategy, Consulting, Technology, and Operations—to bring the best of Accenture to every client engagement.
- Oversee business development activities across the sales cycle, including pipeline creation, proposal management, and deal closure for our regional retail accounts.
- Build partnerships with our ecosystem partners (Adobe, Salesforce, etc.) to co-create solutions and deliver end-to-end value. Here’s What You’ll Need* 7+ years of sales and business development experience with Fortune 500 or leading retail/consumer companies.
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: experience design, digital transformation, digital marketing, product innovation, or marketing technology.
- Proven ability to lead and grow strategic client relationships, ideally with retail or consumer-facing organizations.
- Experience working in a management consulting, digital agency, or technology consulting environment.
- University degree required. Bonus Points If* Deep understanding of retail and consumer digital ecosystems (omnichannel, commerce platforms, personalization, loyalty, and CX technology).
- Ability to engage senior executives—especially Chief Digital Officers and marketing leaders—on topics of digital strategy, marketing innovation, and commerce acceleration.
- Familiarity with key technologies and platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, CDPs, mobile applications, personalization engines).
- Strong consultative selling and storytelling skills, able to articulate the value of creativity + technology + experience.
- High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to lead teams through complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Passion for the convergence of commerce, marketing, and digital experience. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
